ACME GLASS, locally owned, is a member of several area Chambers of Commerce, with 4 shops located in  Souteastern Masachusetts.

Originally started in 1946 by Ed McCloskey, Michael McCloskey is the 3rd generation owner.  Mike's father, John, took over in 1972 and grew the company from 7 stores to 28 stores.  Mike re-incorporated the ACME GLASS name in 1990 after it was sold to a national glass firm in 1986.

Today Mike has 4 ACME GLASS locations: Hyannis, Plymouth, Abington and Walpole; servicing Southeastern Massachusetts from Natick to Provincetown.

You can bring your vehicle in and drop it off or we will come to you at your home, your office or worksite.

We work on personal autos, and commercial vehicles, including limos, buses, and big equipment like excavators.

Did you know that the windshield provides an important part of the operation of the passenger airbag? 
**When an accident deploys the passenger  airbag, it explodes at up to 300 mph and when it fills, it bounces off the windshield. The passenger is sent into into the airbag as it is losing air, thus cushioning and protecting the passenger.

Did you know that your windshield provides up to 60% of the support for the roof in a roll-over?
**A cracked windshield cannot provide the strength necessary to support the vehicle's roof in a roll-over accident.

Do you know what the "pulse"  of a vehicle is?  The windshield, front bumper, frame, airbags are all part of the "pulse" of your vehicle designed to work together to provide safety protection in an accident.
